A self assembly stool, intended to inform the user about material processing and timber production. The stool is made from a single rough sawn board of douglas fir. It is designed to use as little processing as possible during production leaving as much of the rough surface as possible. As a result, the areas which are smooth and finished act as indicators of processing.
