This ongoing project is a series of ideas across different produt types that all follow a philosophy which facilitates an intuitive and natural relationship between the input of the user and the resultant function of an object. The controlls of a product should feel as though they are physically or directly affecting it’s function. This is an attempt to avoid distant, vague and remote relationships between people and things.

The most developed of these ideas, a camera, is expressed in a short film. The ultimate function of a camera is to capture light. For the interaction to feel intuitive, the user should feel as though they are performing this function physically. The action of the frame entering the object makes the user feel as though they are physically capturing what they are seeing through the view finder as they take the picture.
